Resident Artist

Teri at workTeri Partridge is a "Local Kid", who is proud of the fact that she was born and raised in Logansport and finds pleasure in using scenes from Cass County for subjects in her paintings and art work.

After receiving her degrees from Ball State University, Teri taught at Columbia Middle School for 32 years as the Art Teacher. To her credit, she was named Logansport Community School Corporation's Teacher of the Year in 1998, Cass County Art Council's Outstanding Community Arts Educator in 2002, and in 2003 she was named the Arts                                                                 Alliance of Indiana's Outstanding Arts Educator .

Teri's art interests are varied because of her years in the class room as a middle school art teacher. She is best known for her beautiful watercolors and received signature status in the Watercolor Society of Indiana in 1996. Now that she is out of the class room and "working" full time in the studio at the Pear Tree Gallery, Teri is expanding her interests to include collage and polymer clay. Quilting and Fiber Arts projects fill her off time but mostly she succeeds in collecting fabric for future artistic endeavors.
